Advocate Burjis Shabir

Burjis is a qualified lawyer, and has completed B.A, LL.B (Hons.) from National Law University, Jodhpur in 2013. He also holds an Advanced Masters degree in Public International Law, with specialism in International Criminal Law from Leiden University, Netherlands. He has a keen interest in Criminal Law and Human Rights Law and has formerly worked at the International Criminal Court and Special Tribunal for Lebanon. Currently, he handles the entire range of litigation at the firm and specializes in criminal law, banking and financial law, public interest matters, and human rights. He has substantial experience in arguing matters, preparing pleadings and briefing Senior Advocates on several high profile cases. He regularly appears before Courts and tribunals across Delhi and various other States (Raj., Punjab & Haryana, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra etc.) including the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, District Courts of Delhi/NCR, Gurgaon, Noida, Debt Recovery Tribunal, National Green Tribunal, Consumer Forums, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) etc. He is an avid writer and has authored papers on different areas of law related to Whistle-blower Protection regime and International Trade Law.
