Under the GST Law, businesses having a turnover exceeding Rs. 40 Lakhs( except for NE and Hill States for which the turnover should be Rs. 10 Lakhs) have to register under GST. For getting a new Registration of GST, one will need first to see that if it is necessary to register it or not. Consulate or Embassy of foreign countries. Any other person notified by the Board or the Commissioner. The Central or State government may be based on the recommendations of the GST Council, notify exemptions for specific persons.
GST covers all goods and services except alcoholic liquor.
