Can you please tell me the procedure to file copyright application in India? Please suggest.

While filing copyright application certain procedure has to follow. It is always recommended to take help of an expert to avoid any problems. The procedure of filing copyright application is as follows: 

1. Filing of application: copy write owner has to make application in respective office with complete details. After clearing all objections, if any, 30 days time period has been given to allow any objections with respect to the application. Within that time period objections can be filed against the claim with copyright office. If objection is file by anyone, 1 more month is given to decide up to and to hear both the parties that who is the rightful owner of the work. If no objection is given, then second step is followed.
2. Examination of application: if no objection is obtained or objective is cleared, then application to be formally examined. Objection from examiner if any may also be asked for. The reply to the report to be filed within time period of 30 days.
3. Registration of copyright: after overwhelming with all objections, if Registrar is satisfied with facts and circumstances of the case. Then copyright registration is issued to owner and certificate to assigned for the same
