I am working in a firm. From the starting they are paying salary irregularly but now they are not paying any money from last 5 months. I am not able to meet my expenses. What action can I take to get my hard earned money?

Ans.  

Before taking any legal action, you must first get in touch with your HR department in the company. If things not get resorted by HR then go to grievance redressal authority in your company, if any. You need to keep everything documented i.e. in written form. If still the salary is not deposited in your account within prescribed period of time. You can approach local lawyer and send legal notice to the company to disburse your pending amount. If you need our help to write legal notice please do contact us. 

 Sometime matter gets sorted by sending legal notice only, if this is not the case you can file a complaint before Labour Commissioner of concerned district. Or you can also file recovery suit or complaint before concerned authority.
